Hey guys C: Long time no blog post. Like, a year long.

Apart from wanting to update the blog and to prove that while a quiet group, we're still alive and kicking, I wanted to share a couple of things with you.

First off a little admin - Apologies if any submissions are going through a little slow - The founder of the group harrypotterafan has been quiet for some time (yet has been active as far as I can see) and my fellow co-founder has left dA, so currently I'm the only one able to manage the group. But with limitations because a co-founder can't match the powers of the mighty founder.

Also, for some reason submissions aren't showing up in my personal messages as they used to, so I have to remember to check the 'activity log' on the club's page itself.

Not having founder power causes a few issues, but hopefully harrypotterafan might make a reappearance, and failing that I'll try to manage things as best I can.

But most importantly, as we're a Deus Ex group, there's good news on that front, as the title of "Deus Ex: Human Defiance" has been trade marked as a potential game, and there's a Deus Ex movie on the cards at some point in the future (some sites seem to think that they're the same thing, but I get the feeling they're separate and Eidos will be making a game to go with the release of the movie). Details are limited, but I'm sure we'll find out more in good time and I'll try to keep you guys updated if I come across anything new - I'll make sure this group keeps up-to-date if it's the last thing I do! xD

And on the topic of DX: Human Defiance, check out a little background for the 'new game' - www.deusex.com/humandefiance - released today!

April Fools...! (Though to be honest, I'd totally play that game >.>)

I support this. there's no reason why there aren't more 2d games that aren't online flash games and I've never seen someone try and do this kind of RPG in a 2d 8 bit so it could be cool in fact it seems like they would even be fixing some of the problems I had with Human Revolution like the boss fights and being able to choose how you handle them so yeah I support it. I use to think that a 2d stealth action game couldn't be pulled off but Mark of The Ninja proved me dead wrong on that so this could be cool
